Our approach

We focus on studying the integration of sustainable energy and transportation systems, with a strong emphasis on the use of clean, alternative energy sources to create a system that is not only decarbonized, but also resilient, and equitable. We employ data-driven methodologies to efficiently plan and operate infrastructures, ensuring that they meet the needs of their users while minimizing environmental impact. In this context, we strive for safety in emerging mobility technologies to evaluate the arising societal impacts. Additionally, we actively consider interactions among stakeholders of these socio-technical ecosystems, promoting frameworks that assist them in regulating innovating technologies and addressing equitable considerations.

Focus areas

Together, the pillars drive our holistic approach in shaping a sustainable, safe, and equitable future for transportation and energy systems.
